Crispy Oat Biscuits

Crispy Oat Biscuits

Tools               

 Saucepan
 Mixing Bowl
 Wooden Spoon
 Baking Tray
  (approx 20x30cm/8"x12")

Ingredients        

 175g/6oz Porridge Oats 
 125g/4½oz Soft Brown Sugar
 175g/6oz Butter or Spread


Method                                                                        

Pre-heat the oven to 190°c / 375°f / Gas Mark 5.
Grease the baking tray.
Melt the butter gently in the saucepan.
Remove from heat and add all the remaining ingredients.
Pour mixture into prepared tray.
Bake in the centre of the oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and cut into portions.
Remove from baking tray when cold and crispy.
